Rosepine extended their postseason success on Friday against Newman. They came out on top against the Newman Greenies by a score of 65-57. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their 25th in a row.
Newman's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Randy Livingston Jr, who posted 17 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. Livingston Jr has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 16 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Pierce Cunningham, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 10 points and seven boards.
Rosepine's victory bumped their record up to 28-3. As for Newman, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-7.
