After two games on the road, Bayfront Charter is heading back home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Mountain Empire Redhawks at 4:00 p.m. on January 19th.
Bayfront Charter suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 65-29 loss at the hands of O'Farrell Charter. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bayfront Charter in their matchups with O'Farrell Charter: they've now lost four in a row.
Even though Mountain Empire has not done well against Health Sciences recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Mountain Empire walked away with a 58-51 victory over Health Sciences. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Mountain Empire.
It was another big night for Corey Vann, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Andrew Sepulveda was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds.
Bayfront Charter's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Mountain Empire, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5.
