Meanwhile, Rogers had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 27-6 margin over Scott on Monday. That looming 27-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rams yet this season.
Rylie Mundt made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out ten batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI.
In other batting news, Rogers got a massive performance out of Charity Murphy, who went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Zyla Hill was another key player, getting on base in all six of her plate appearances with three stolen bases and four runs.

Wednesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Woodward has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .441. However, it's not like Rogers struggles in that department as they've averaged .462. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
