Two weeks ago, Exeter-Milligan/Friend put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Thayer Central 62-20. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-6.
Meanwhile, Osceola/High Plains fought the good fight in their overtime matchup last Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. It was close but no cigar for Osceola/High Plains as they fell 50-52 to Cross County. Yes, you read that final score correctly. Yes, this was football.
Exeter-Milligan/Friend's win lifted them to 4-0 while Osceola/High Plains's loss dropped them down to 3-2. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
