La Salle waltzed into their matchup  on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by  a  12-2 margin over the Pomona Catholic Pacers.  Barbie Solis was a major factor no matter where she played. She  struck out seven batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   two  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news, La Salle got a  massive  performance out of  Layla Loya, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  doubles and four  RBI. Those  four  hits gave  Loya a new career-high.  Aria Davis was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 La Salle was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .438. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pomona Catholic only posted a  batting average of  .105.
La Salle's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-4. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Pomona Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
 La Salle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  a  10-6  win against Rio Hondo Prep on the 12th. Pomona Catholic has also already played their next  matchup (against St. Genevieve), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
