The biggest upset of the week belonged to Warren, who took down 245th ranked Warren, 22-15.
Brandeis extended the longest winning streak in 5A Region IV District 27 this week by beating Taft, 51-14. The win marks fifth in a row for the Brandeis.
Warren's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. R Larson has thrown for 1090 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while A Taylor has 30 catches for 562 yards. R Jacobs leads the league in rushing with 407 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when O'Connor takes on Holmes. As it stands, the Panthers are in second, while the Huskies are in third.
Holmes moved up to 359 from 474 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 5A Region IV District 27. A 22-15 win over the Warriors helped Hector Rodriguez's team improve its standing.
