The Upper Perkiomen Indians will challenge the Methacton Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Upper Perkiomen will be strutting in after a win while Methacton will be coming in after a loss.
Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Upper Perkiomen turned things around against Brandywine Heights Area on Thursday. They came out on top against the Bullets by a score of 6-1.
Tessa Carpenter looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Upper Perkiomen let Olivia Gehringer and Kristina Molnar run wild. Gehringer went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI, while Molnar went 2-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three runs gave Molnar a new career-high. Brooke Sullivan was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Upper Perkiomen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 4-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Methacton and Owen J. Roberts had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Warriors lost 12-5 to the Wildcats on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.
Sadie Fitch made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, two runs, and one stolen base.
Upper Perkiomen's victory bumped their record up to 4-10-1. As for Methacton, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
