Last Friday, Joppa-Maple Grove made easy work of Dongola and carried off a 74-48 win. The victory was just what Joppa-Maple Grove needed coming off of a 73-41 defeat in their prior match.

That makes it two consecutive games in which Zabala has scored at least 25% of Joppa-Maple Grove's points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Hinman, who scored 14 points along with 5 steals.
Northside Baptist Christian kicked off their season on the road last Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 71-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Egyptian.
The losses dropped Joppa-Maple Grove to 3-4 and Dongola to 0-7.
Joppa-Maple Grove came out on top in a nail-biter against Northside Baptist Christian when the teams last played back in February, sneaking past 51-49.
