The Westside Seminoles entered their tilt with the Southwest Patriots with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Westside strolled past Southwest with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 55-39. This was payback for Westside, who suffered a 55-48 loss the last time these two teams met.
Westside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Christian Little led the charge by scoring 13 points along with six assists. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Chauncey Williams, who scored 12 points along with four blocks.
Westside pushed their record up to 6-3 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Southwest, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
Westside will head out on the road to face off against Upson-Lee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Southwest will be home for the holidays to greet Salem at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Salem has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 285 points over their last four games.
