The Forsyth Home Educators Hawks had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 68-54 victory over Surry HomeSchool on Tuesday. With that win, Forsyth Home Educators brought their scoring average up to 50.6 points per game.
It was another big night for Cooper Clontz, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Forsyth Home Educators' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Baylin Clodfelter, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and five steals.
Forsyth Home Educators' win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-14. As for Surry HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 12-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forsyth Home Educators will face off against South Guilford HomeSchool at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Surry HomeSchool's road trip will continue as they head out to face Greater Cabarrus S at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th.
