Superior suffered their biggest defeat since December 22, 2023 on Monday. They took a serious blow against Fort Thomas, falling 64-16. Superior was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-5.
Superior's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Lilianna Fritz, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds, and Sussan Mancinas who scored two points. That was a full 68.8% of Superior's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Mogollon can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They breezed by Dishchii'bikoh at home to the tune of 62-30. The win was nothing new for Mogollon as they're now sitting on three straight.
Superior's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-16. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 15.3 points per game. As for Mogollon, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
