Everglades City lost against the Donahue Catholic Shamrocks two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Everglades City lost to the Shamrocks on the road by a decisive 68-53 margin.
Leading Donahue Catholic to victory were Erling Berg and Isaac Loboda. Berg almost dropped a triple-double on 16 points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists, while Loboda scored 32 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Loboda has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jack Kadlec, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Everglades City's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Donahue Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.
Everglades City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Donahue Catholic will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. The Village School of Naples is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
