The Crisfield Crabbers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a serious blow against Decatur, falling 93-53. Crisfield has not had much luck with Decatur recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
It was another big night for Brycen Coleman, who dropped a double-double on 37 points and ten rebounds for Decatur. Those 37 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Davin Chandler, who scored six points along with six steals.
Crisfield's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Decatur, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crisfield and Nandua will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 19, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Decatur will be home for the holidays to greet Arcadia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
