The Meadow Heights Panthers were the 73-62 winner over the Bismarck Indians when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Meadow Heights fell just short of Bismarck by a score of 65-62. Meadow Heights has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bismarck's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sven Wilson, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. The contest was Wilson's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Kell, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Meadow Heights now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Bismarck, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.
Meadow Heights will be home for the holidays to greet Bloomfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bloomfield has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Bismarck and Valle Catholic will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
