Despite the defeat, Freedom Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Allison Lett dropped a double-double on 26 points and 17 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Trinity Patterson, who scored seven points plus five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Neuse Charter won against Franklin Academy on Friday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Neuse Charter breezed by Southside Christian to the tune of 56-5. The win was just business as usual for the Cougars, who after three games remain undefeated this season.
