After only one run in their last contest, Oxford made sure to put some runs up on the board against Sipsey Valley on Tuesday. Everything went the Oxford Yellow Jackets' way against the Sipsey Valley Bears as the Oxford Yellow Jackets made off with an 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Yellow Jackets, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Nick Richardson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Richardson was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hudson Gilman, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Marcus Lawler was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
