Southern Coffey County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Karley Ohl, who scored 15 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. The game was Ohl's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Emily Ludolph, who scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds.
Altoona-Midway's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Southern Coffey County, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Altoona-Midway will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Flinthills. Flinthills presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Altoona-Midway in Kansas (Flinthills is ranked 36th, while Altoona-Midway is ranked 230th). As for Southern Coffey County, they will head out on the road to face off against Olpe on Tuesday. Olpe will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
