Preble Shawnee is a perfect 4-0 against Tri-County North since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Arrows will head out on the road to face off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Preble Shawnee knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Tri-County North likes a good challenge.
On Friday, Preble Shawnee made easy work of Mississinawa Valley and carried off a 48-25 win. The Arrows haven't had any issues with the Blackhawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

It was another big night for Brody Morton, who rushed for 198 yards and three scores on only nine carries, and also threw for 176 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. A healthy portion of Morton's aerial production (91 yards to be exact) went to Caleb Blankenship, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Preble Shawnee was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 245 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 176 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Tri-County North lost to National Trail on the road by a 38-20 margin on Friday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Blazers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Preble Shawnee will have to contain Peyton Fannin as he made an impact in Tri-County North's last game. He rushed for 120 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Fannin has become a key player for Tri-County North: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 0-4 otherwise.
Tri-County North's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Preble Shawnee, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: Preble Shawnee has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 367.3 total yards per game. It's a different story for Tri-County North, though, as they've been averaging only 197.4 total yards. Will Preble Shawnee be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Panthers flip the script?
Everything came up roses for Preble Shawnee against Tri-County North when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 55-8 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Arrows since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
