The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ganado in their matchups with Edna: they've now lost four in a row.
Ganado's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Isabel Tristan, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Michaela Estrada, who scored 4 points along with 12 rebounds.
Ganado has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Edna, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.
Ganado will look to defend their home court on Friday against Palacios at 1:30 p.m. Palacios is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Edna, they will challenge Columbus at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
