Wheaton was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Verona on Monday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 18-2 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by ten runs or more this season.

Wheaton now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Verona, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Wheaton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-11 win against Pierce City on the 15th. Verona has also already played their next game (against Spokane), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
