The Miami Wardogs lost against the Sequoyah Eagles back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Miami had to suffer through a rough 53-23 loss at the hands of Sequoyah. Miami has struggled against Sequoyah recently, as their game on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Miami still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Catt, who scored nine points.
Miami has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Sequoyah, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.
Miami didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 80-29 loss vs. Keys on the 10th. Sequoyah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
