Lakehill Prep and Lucas Christian Academy are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Lakehill Prep Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Lucas Christian Academy Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lakehill Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
Last Friday, Lakehill Prep was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 38-33 to Lucas Christian Academy. Lakehill Prep has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Drew Perry, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That was a full 42.4% of Lakehill Prep's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Preston Corder, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Lakehill Prep's loss dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Lucas Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.
