DeMotte Christian came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against West Central, but Bryce Nannenga wouldn't allow it. The West Central Trojans enjoyed a cozy 53-37 victory over the DeMotte Christian Knights on Tuesday for which the team can thank Nannenga, who almost dropped a double-double with 26 points and nine boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games he's played.

When it comes to explaining why DeMotte Christian lost, don't look at Tony Bos. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. That was a full 45.9% of DeMotte Christian's points, marking the sixth time in a row Bos has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Tanyon Bakker, who earned nine points and six boards.

West Central is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. DeMotte Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

West Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-28 win against North White on the 21st. As for DeMotte Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-49 defeat against Frontier on the 22nd.
