Wayne extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping them up to 6-2. They came out on top against the Cedar Catholic Trojans by a score of 41-32. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Blue Devils' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Trojans are ranked 165th).

Jaxson Kneifl was nothing short of spectacular: he went 5-for-11 en route to 19 points and five assists. Those 19 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Theo Claussen, who posted seven points.

As for Cedar Catholic, they now have a losing record of 2-3. The game marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Cedar Catholic had strong showings from Gavin Klug, who had nine points, and Mason Baller, who earned 12 points and six rebounds.

Wayne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-56 victory against Pierce on the 31st. As for Cedar Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 59-43 win against Pender on the 31st.
