The Huron Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Yankton Bucks/Gazelles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Thursday, Huron didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Mitchell, but they still walked away with a 19-14 victory.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Huron to victory, but perhaps none more so than Colton Mcneil, who threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Cashton Caudell, who rushed for 140 yards while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
Meanwhile, Yankton faced Aberdeen Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Yankton walked away with a 31-21 victory over Aberdeen Central on Friday. Winning may never get old, but Yankton sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Huron's victory on Thursday bumped their record up to 4-4. Yankton has been no stranger to the win column this season, as they've started out with wins in seven of their first eight games, giving them a 7-1 record.
Huron was taken down by Yankton 42-14 in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Will Huron have more luck at home instead of on the road?
