Clarksburg had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Middleton on Monday. The Rockets were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Tigers. The victory was familiar territory for the Rockets, who have now won three contests in a row.

Alyssa Belew was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Molly Williams was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Clarksburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Clarksburg's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Middleton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

Clarksburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Middleton, they are taking a road trip to square off against Bolivar Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Middleton's pitchers better be ready for this one: Bolivar Central has averaged an impressive 10.5 runs per game this season.
