The Monroe Cheesemakers will head out on the road to square off against the Mukwonago Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Monroe will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Monroe is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Delavan-Darien on Thursday as they made off with a 24-0 victory. The Cheesemakers haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Kaegann Paulson was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
In other pitching news, Fiona Junk looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Back at the plate, Jayde Hawkinson was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Tran, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs and three RBI.
Monroe always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .714. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Mukwonago came up short against Muskego on Thursday, falling 26-4. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Monroe's record is now 16-8. As for Mukwonago, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
Mukwonago's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Monroe has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.1 hits per game. It's a different story for Mukwonago, though, as they've been averaging 13.4 hits. Given Monroe's sizable advantage in that area, the Indians will need to find a way to close that gap.
