Liberty Bell hadn't done well against Brewster recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Mountain Lions put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 17-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mountain Lions, who have now won 11 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Liberty Bell is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Brewster, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Liberty Bell is set to challenge their familiar foe Lake Roosevelt at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Brewster will take on rival Okanogan at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
