The Forrest Rockets lost against the Grundy County Yellowjackets on January 5th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Forrest lost to Grundy County on the road by a decisive 65-49 margin. Forrest has struggled against Grundy County recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Forrest lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ben Villazon, who scored 16 points along with two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Goad, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Forrest dropped their record down to 3-16 with that defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Grundy County, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.
