Baseball Game Preview: West Lauderdale Knights vs. Choctaw Central Warriors

West Lauderdale is a perfect 7-0 against Choctaw Central since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The West Lauderdale Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Choctaw Central Warriors at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Lauderdale has eight straight victories, Choctaw Central has 11 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Last Tuesday, West Lauderdale got the win against Choctaw Central by a conclusive 13-2. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by ten runs or more this season.

For Choctaw Central's part, Kethan Anderson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Anderson a new career-high in doubles (two).

West Lauderdale's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Choctaw Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
