The Coudersport Falcons lost against the Union Knights/Damsels back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Coudersport fell 56-44 to Union.
Leading Union to victory were Trey Fleming and Dawson Camper. Fleming scored 14 points along with nine assists and six rebounds, while Camper scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. Those nine assists set a new season-high mark for him. Gage Jordan was another key contributor, scoring four points along with 12 rebounds.
Coudersport has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Union, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.
Coudersport will head out on the road to face off against Austin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Karns City at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Karns City knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight contests -- so hopefully Union likes a good challenge.
