A Season-Best Effort from Jonathan Isom Leads Mitchell County over Pelham
Mitchell County was led to victory by Jonathan Isom, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Isom rushed for 183 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making four total tackles in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
The win was the third in a row for Mitchell County, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Isom and Mitchell County will welcome Miller County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
