Carlisle waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 60-23 stomp they got against the Norfolk Academy Bulldogs. The Chiefs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Maria Delyannis and Eliza Everett certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Delyannis posted 16 points and five steals, while Everett earned no points and seven rebounds. The contest was Delyannis' fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Carlisle has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Norfolk Academy, they moved to 5-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Carlisle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 72-42 win against Gretna on the 28th. As for Norfolk Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 46-28 victory against Martinsville on the 28th.
