Baseball Recap: Verona Takes a Loss

The Verona Wildcats lost 8-1 to the Burlington Demons on Monday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Verona's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Burlington, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-14.

While Verona had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
