Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Ella Gordon stepped things up a notch to give Mize the 'W'. Gordon wasn't messing around, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. The pitching appearance was her fifth straight with two or fewer walks.

Gordon's strong effort led Mize over Scott Central and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
