Cass is 10-0 against Woodland since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Cass Colonels will head out on the road to square off against the Woodland Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Cass is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, Cass came up short against Hiram and fell 62-49. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cass in their matchups with Hiram: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, Woodland's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 76-36 loss at the hands of Dalton. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Woodland has scored all season.
Cass has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Woodland, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-16.
Cass skirted past Woodland 61-58 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cass since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
