Gideon Davidson and Co. Win 19th in a Row
Liberty Christian picked up their 19th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Gideon Davidson. Davidson was dynamite, rushing for 96 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season.
Davidson must have Rustburg's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Davidson last faced the Red Devils back in November of 2023, he rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns.

Amherst County was sadly handed a loss on Saturday, but Nick?Hale Fleshman did his best to prevent it. Fleshman was unstoppable, rushing for 103 yards on only six carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making 11 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending a pass.
This year, Fleshman has averaged 36 rushing yards per game.

Max Calloway Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Glass got the W thanks in part to Max Calloway playing the best football he has all season. Calloway threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the season, Calloway has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 154.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to three.

Wade Posts Huge Game in 31-24 Loss
The second Amherst County player making an appearance here is Devonte Wade, and for good reason. He rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 82 yards and a touchdown.
For the year, Wade has thrown those 1 touchdown while averaging 24 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had five rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to eight.
