Softball Recap: Elba Has No Trouble Against Georgiana

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Elba had no problem doing just that on Monday. Everything went their way against the Georgiana Panthers as they made off with a 21-4 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Elba got a massive performance out of Ana Caldwell, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles. That's the most runs Caldwell has posted since back in March. Kalleigh Russell was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI.

Elba's victory bumped their record up to 8-18. As for Georgiana, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

As of now, neither Elba nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
