Zoe Billings made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Savannah Schroeder, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Lexie Baldwin also deserves some recognition as she got her first hits of the season.
