The Littlestown Thunderbolts will challenge the New Oxford Colonials at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday.

While the Colonials didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
 Cade Baker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned runs on four hits and racked up 13 Ks. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 5.6  strikeouts per game.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Tayvon Jacoby, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-2.  Gavin Haifley was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
 New Oxford was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .308 or higher in four consecutive  contests.
 New Oxford pushed their record up to 4-1 with the  victory, which was their seventh straight  at home dating back to last season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Littlestown, they now  have a losing record of 2-3-1.
