The Nebo Crossing Academy Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy 98-38 at home. Nebo Crossing Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.
Nebo Crossing Academy had a senior duo take command as Morgan Baker scored 41 points along with six rebounds and five assists and Isaac Grubbs shot 8-for-10 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Baker has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Isiah Johnson, who scored two points along with 11 assists and five steals.
The win was the fourth in a row for Nebo Crossing Academy, bringing their record for this year to 14-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points per game. As for Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Nebo Crossing Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
