If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Excelsior Springs. They are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Richmond on Friday at 7:00 PM. Excelsior Springs are cruising in on a 3-game winning streak while Richmond are stumbling in off of 3 consecutive losses.
Excelsior Springs took the game and then some with a 53-6 victory last week over Central.
Meanwhile, Richmond ended up a good deal behind Pleasant Hill when they played, losing 12-27.
Excelsior Springs's win lifted them to 3-0 while Richmond's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll find out if Excelsior Springs can add another positive mark to their record or if Richmond can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Excelsior Springs's step.
