Kenai Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 14-25, 18-25, 25-21, 25-16, 15-7.
Sophie Tapley paced Kenai Central's offense, picking up 25 kills. Tapley got some help from Gracee Every and her 31 assists. Ellsi Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Kenai Central's win bumped their record up to 40-16-5. As for Nikiski, their defeat dropped their record down to 42-14-6.
