Tarboro was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against North East Carolina Prep on Tuesday. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Husky. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Cole Craddock was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Stephen Ribustello was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Tarboro's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-5. As for North East Carolina Prep, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Tarboro beat the Husky by a score of 7-0 later that day.
