Lourdes Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Luciana Picasso led the charge by dropping a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. The game was Picasso's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Michelle Falero was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds.
Lourdes Academy pushed their record up to 10-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Coral Gables, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Lourdes Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Dr. Krop at 5:10 p.m. on December 19th. Dr. Krop will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
