The San Francisco Christian Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by The Nueva School at home and fell 71-15. San Francisco Christian lost against The Nueva School in their previous head to head back in February of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 58-21 score last time.
Gabe Ciechanover continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for The Nueva School, scoring 16 points. The contest was Ciechanover's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Agustin, who scored 12 points.
San Francisco Christian's defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-2. As for The Nueva School, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Design Tech the next time they take the court. The Nueva School will head out to face Design Tech at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while San Francisco Christian will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
