When it comes to explaining why Grace Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Davis Reid. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Reid is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Caleb Cashion, who scored 11 points.
Fishburne Military's victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-12. As for Grace Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
Fishburne Military won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Roanoke Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th. Hopefully Roanoke Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine two weeks ago. Grace Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Ridgeview Christian at 7:15 p.m. on January 19th.
