The West Carroll War Eagles will face off against the Houston County Fighting Irish at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in West Carroll's favor is that they have posted at least 31  points  every time they've taken the field this season.

 Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Houston County beat East Hickman County 28-22 on Friday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Fighting Irish.
 It was another big night for  Malaki Cary, who rushed for 253 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 14.9 yards per carry. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 107.2  rushing yards per game.  Tristen Hooper was another key player, picking up 105 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 West Carroll's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Houston County, their victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 3-1.
