Fairfax Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matchups by 23 points or more this season.
Fairfax Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah Adegbenro, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds. The contest was Adegbenro's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Frank Siaca Bey was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Middletown's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Fairfax Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.
