After only two runs in their last match, Riverside Academy made sure to put some runs up on the board against McGehee on Monday. The Rebels blew past the Hawks 11-2. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won 12 contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Riverside Academy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for McGehee, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-5.

Riverside Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 17-3 victory against South Terrebonne on the 8th. As for McGehee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 22-4 win against Varnado on the 8th.
